Ranier attended his first show two weeks ago in Corsicana, Texas. He was shown by a 10 year old in Liberty, Hunter and Jumper. He was shown by a "mature adult" in Country Western Pleasure Driving -under. He  is well suited to be a Country Pleasure horse. Ranier is just starting his show career. He is willing and sensible. He needs more miles in the show ring to refine his natural assets. One of the judges stated he had the "nicest extended trot of any horse in his classes". Ranier changed gaits smoothly and once he decided the folks in the bleachers weren't something scary he moved forward nicely. Backing needs some work---he backed a few steps each time he was asked but his enthusiasm was lacking! Buy him now and have him ready for nationals
