Halter horses with a passion for
performance is more than just a slogan for Hidden
Hollow Farm. It is the foundation of our breeding
program. Hidden Hollow has developed outstanding performance
horses that also excel at halter. Breeding stock is carefully
selected for soundness of mind and athletic ability as well as
quality of conformation. We don't specialize in pinto, buckskin or
appaloosa- we specialize in Quality no matter what the
color!
Hidden Hollow bred horses have been National
and Regional Champions in halter and performance in the American
Miniature Horse Association, the Pinto Horse Association and other
horse associations with open driving opportunities.
In 1990 Hidden Hollow became the home of the
Bossier Parish Therapeutic Equine Program, which was possibly the
first program that specifically used miniature horses for children
and adults with disabilities. Hidden Hollow continues to work
closely with persons with disabilities and amateurs interested in
enjoying miniature horses as pets and companions or in developing
the skills to be successful in the show ring.
